Welcome to the Shabaan issue of Mujtaba. which is packed with lots of interesting stuff, make sure you read article of the month that is about waiting for our beloved Imam Mahdi (af) who's birthday we will celebrate on the 15th of this month and dont miss the story of the boy and the glasses that will make you feel grateful for all you have.

Shabaan is a blessed month as Imam Ali (as) has said that the Lord called this month Shabaan (sha'aba which means scattered in Arabic) because His favours and bounties were scattered all over during this month.
This hadith tells me that this month is like a great treasure hunt prepared by Allah (swt) and we have to gather up all the great blessings hiding everywhere. So how are we going make sure we find all this lovely heavenly treasure?
It's a good thing that Imam Mahdi (as) has also given us all the clues so that we can discover the beautiful gifts that are everywhere. Imam (a) tells us that the first thing to do is show goodness to parents, family and neighbours, that's not so hard right? So start thinking of ways to make all around you happy' Imam Ali (as) also said that we if we try to reconcile friends then it means lots of blessing. So if you know two friends that don't like each other anymore, get involved and try to get them to make up.
Also give charity, pray more and practice amr bil ma'roof (which means telling those around you to be good) and nahyi anil munkar (which means stopping people from doing bad stuff).
So go out there and start collecting the treasure scattered all around. Good luck and tell us if you saw big changes in yourselves after this lovely month. Also please send us pictures of all the celebrations you have for the birthday of the Imam(aft) of our time!
